Whenever I’m traveling somewhere, one of my favorite things to do is to look for cafes.
Part of the fun is relaxing and watching the local patrons who come into the cafe interact with the staff.
With eight locations around the prefecture, Coffee Boy is a cafe that is beloved by locals.
The cafe was mentioned in the New York Times’ “52 Places to Go in 2024” as one of the highlights of Yamaguchi City and serves delicious home-roasted coffee.
They also sell coffee beans by the weight along with drip bags, so this may also be a good place to pick up some gifts to bring back home.
