Byakkoan is a rental cottage located in the historic hot spring town of Yuda Onsen, Yamaguchi City.
Featuring a doma (earthen entrance hall) that stretches from the entrance to the living room as well as a koagari (raised tatami area) and a Japanese-style room with a tokonoma (decorative alcove), this single-family residence features all the attractive elements of a traditional Japanese-style house.

Among other decorations, the house is adorned with various art pieces made with a locally-produced traditional Japanese paper called Tokuji Washi.
