Kitsune no Ashiato is a convenient place to collect sightseeing and food tour information.
The adjoined cafe, which serves Yamaguchi specialties such as locally-brewed sake and uiro (sweet rice jelly), offers a place for travelers to have a short rest.
The facility also features a small library of books on the local-born poet Nakahara Chuya as well as a gallery, providing a culturally-enriching experience.
There are also three paid foot baths with specialized foot-bathing outfits that are designed to look like kimono as well as changing rooms and lockers that are available to use for no additional fee, allowing visitors to relax and enjoy the baths without having to worry about their clothes.

At night, the foot baths are lit up and you can spend a special evening relaxing your feet in the warm water as you are enveloped in a soft light.
